Borrussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked to a reported £61m move to Liverpool, per The Sun.
The Gabon international has no shortage of suitors, with Manchester City, P.S.G and Manchester United all having made inquiries about the availability of the target-man.
The Sun, however, reports that P.S.G has decided against making a move for the striker, which has handed Premier League sides a massive boost in their pursuit of the talented forward.
It is no secret that Klopp is an admirer of the player, having coached him back in his time in charge of Borrussia Dortmund, and is pressing for a reunion with the mercurial talent. This would solve Liverpool’s perennial lack of a stable presence up front, with both Sturridge and Danny Ings facing constant injury doubts.
The Gabon International was the top-scorer of the Bundesliga last season, scoring 31 goals in 31 games. His addition to an already electrifying attack could potentially see the realization of a Liverpool title challenge.
