Arsenal reportedly willing to allow West Ham target to leave this summer

Giroud

Olivier Giroud is reportedly “allowed to leave” Arsenal, and as the Gambling Times finds out – West Ham is eager to secure the signing of French international.

A lack of regular football is what bothers Giroud, and even though he signed a contract extension in January – he could still leave Emirates during the summer transfer window. Limited playing time during the course of last season saw him start only 11 games.

Giroud is now 30 years old, and he has been with the Gunners since 2012. However, reports suggest that Wenger will allow the striker to leave. Several clubs are ready to pounce, with Marseille and PSG looking to bring their countryman back home.

Everton could also be in competition for Giroud’s services, but it seems that West Ham are in pole position. West Ham boss Slaven Bilic desperately needs to bring in a prolific striker, and as we all know – Olivier Giroud knows how to score goals.
