If a permanent move for Patrick Roberts falls through, Celtic officials have a reserve solution as they have reportedly already found a player who could be the replacement for the Manchester City player.
His name is Jack Harrison, English native, who plays for New York City FC, along with Frank Lampard.
The young player is the same age as Roberts and has similar characteristics. Extreme pace, he is left-footed and can perform an extremely lethal counter-attack.
The 20-year-old has been a member of Manchester United youth academy for 7 years, and later went to the USA.
In the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, Harrison was the first overall pick and was chosen by Chicago Fire, but later traded to New York City FC. During the current campaign, he scored 6 goals in 15 matches so far.
In comparison to Roberts, Harrison has many similarities and one huge advantage, and that is his price. There is no doubt that he would be much cheaper than Roberts, who was paid £12 million in 2015.
