Rangers reportedly on the verge of signing 29-year-old attacker

Rangers about to sign Daniel Candeias from Benfica, and the value of the transfer is reported to be £750,000.

The Scottish Sun reports that the winger of Benfica Lisbon and one of the primary targets of Rangers’ boss Pedro Caixinha, is about to sign the deal with the team from Glasgow.

According to the same source, the Portuguese player will arrive during the day and undergo medical tests at Auchenhowie, and after that, the Rangers will close the deal.

The 29-year-old will bring more depth and experience to the Rangers midfield, which was obviously lacking the same thing in the previous season.

Candeias has huge experience, as he played for 12 clubs, located in 6 different countries throughout his career. His best performances were in Nacional, where he played 85 games and scored 13 goals.

Candeias spent the last season in Turkey, playing for Alanyaspor. During his staying there, he appeared 29 times for the Turkish club and scored 4 goals.
