According to reports, Rangers are nearing a deal for HJK Helsinki striker Alfredo Morelos. It is understood that the Gers will fork out a fee in the region of £1million for Morelos, who will join on a three year deal.
The 20-year-old Morelos has been impressive for Helsinki, having bagged 46 goals from 62 matches for the club – which also included four goals from six matches in the Europa League.
He will certainly be a good coup for manager Pedro Caixinha and will be an exciting talent to watch in action next season.
The Colombian international initially joined Helsinki on loan in February 2016 from Colombian side Independiente Medellin before his transfer was made permanent in January for £425,000.
Thus far Gers boss Caixinha has already secured the signatures of Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack as well as Dalcio on a season long loan deal as he looks to bolster his side ahead of next season.
