Rangers goalkeeper Liam Kelly has signed a new two year contract with the club, it has been confirmed. The goalkeeper spent the past season on loan with Livingstone who gained promotion to the Scottish Championship.
Kelly is a product of the Rangers youth development system and though he has yet to make a senior appearance for the side, he has showed signs that he could mature into a first choice keeper for the side in the future.
Kelly will be high on confidence that managed to clinch titles during both of his loan deals over two seasons. The 21-year-old helped East Fife clinch promotion from League two during the 2015/16 season before achieving success with Livingstone this past season.
Kelly has represented Scotland at various youth age groups. Gers boss Pedro Caixinha sees Kelly as a part of his plans having rewarded the youngster with this new deal. It however remains to be seen how he will be utilized.
