According to reports, Middlesbrough are eyeing a swoop for Rangers target Graham Dorrans. Dorrans is surplus to requirements at Norwich City and will be sold this summer.
Rangers launched a £1 million bid for the 30-year-old Dorrans, which was turned down by new Norwich boss Daniel Farke.
Middlesbrough have now entered the race for the Scottish international Dorrans as they prepare to revamp their squad following relegation from the Premier League this past season.
During his stint with Norwich, Dorrans made 44 appearances and notched only six goals. Rangers will however have a very good signing should they further negotiate with Norwich over a possible move.
Dorrans began his career at Livingstone and at this stage of his career, may favor a return back to the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers are a club that are looking to re-establish themselves as giants of the Scottish game and could hand Dorrans regular game time as they will aim to use his experience to benefit them.
