Scottish Premier League Champions Celtic are reportedly eyeing a swoop for Rostov striker Sardar Azmoun in the event that Moussa Dembele depart from the club.
Dembele impressed this past season scoring 32 goals form 49 matches in all competitions to help the Bhoys to treble winning success and has attracted the interest from numerous clubs including Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan.
While Dembele could decide to stay at Celtic for next season, it is unlikely that he will remain with Celtic for the long-term.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly a fan of Azmoun, having scouted him whilst manager of Liverpool and is considering the Iranian international as a replacement for Dembele.
The 22-year-old Azmoun scored twelve goals last season, which included strikes against Manchester City and Atletico Madrid in the Champions League and has also earned himself comparisons to Swedish football legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
