Declan Rice has admitted that he could leave West Ham this summer. Rice recently won the award for Young Hammer of the year and was given his senior debut by Slaven Bilic on the final day of this past season.
He is desperate to play senior football on a more regular basis and has admitted that he may seek a loan away from the Hammers next season in order to achieve that.
He said, “We’ll see what happens, but it might be my time to go out on loan next season and have a good challenge while getting senior experience.
“Playing either in the Championship or League One has to be the aim. It would be a perfect way to gain experience and learn.”
Though Rice is a highly-rated youngster, chairman of West Ham David Gold did recently admit that regular first team opportunities may be difficult for up and coming youngsters. Therefore a loan spell away from the London Stadium may be best for this youngster at this stage.
