Everton and Liverpool are set to battle each other in the race to sign £10 million rated Anderlecht striker Lukasz Teodorczyk according to reports.
Spanish club Sevilla were the first to negotiate with Anderlecht over a possible deal for the Polish international, however their interest is cooling after no agreement between the two clubs was reached.
The La Liga club have reportedly given Anderlecht an ultimatum that they must reach a deal by not later than 12th June or they will walk away. Liverpool are also said to be interested having been monitoring the progress of the striker for a year now.
The 26-year-old Teodorczyk was in great form in the Belgian Pro League this past season, scoring 20 goals from 28 matches.
Teodorczyk is a player who is currently at the prime of his career and he will feel that the time is no right for him to ply his trade in the La Liga or English Premiership.
