Leicester reportedly join West Ham in the race for 27-year-old international attacker

Leicester City have reportedly entered the race to sign Everton target Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Iceland international is wanted by Ronald Koeman as he looks to bolster his side ahead of Europa League football next season

Given that Sigurdsson’s current club Swansea struggled to avoid relegation for much of this past season, he may be keen on a move to a club with bigger ambitions.

The 27-year-old Sigurdsson scored ten goals this past season and played a crucial role in helping Swansea retain their top flight status.

Now Leicester have also entered the race as the look to bolster their attack as they prepare for the departure of star midfielder Riyadh Mahrez this summer.

The Algerian international has indicated that he feels that the time is right to leave the Foxes and will be sold to the highest bid this summer amid interest from Monaco as well as Premier League club Arsenal.
