Championship club Aston Villa have been linked with the signature of Fleetwood Town left back Amari’i Bell according to reports.
The 23-year-old played impressively in the League One this past season and has attracted the interest of a number of clubs including Norwich City.
Bell has links with the Midlands having previously played for Birmingham City, who released him in 2015 after making just one senior appearance; hence a transfer to Villa could appeal to him. His sole appearance for City came against Leicester.
In addition to this, the player currently has one year left on his current deal and will be keen to move up a division; therefore the likelihood of a sale taking place is high
While Bell is a defender, his attacking attributes are said to be impressive and Premier League clubs West Ham and Swansea have reportedly sent scouts to watch him in action in the past.
