West Ham set to sign talented African striker confirms agent

The agent of striker Kelechi Iheanacho has confirmed that “barring any last minute hiccup”, the youngster will join West Ham United ahead of next season.

The Agent of Iheanacho reportedly said according to Owngoal Nigeria, “Talks with West Ham are very advanced I must confess and barring any last minute hiccup he will end up joining them. If not them then any other team in England but not outside England.”

The Nigerian international Iheanacho did not feature much under Pep Guardiola this season and has dropped down the pecking order at City behind Sergio Aguero and Brazilian youngster Gabriel Jesus.

At this stage, a move to West Ham for Iheanacho is a good move as it will allow him to start playing more regularly.

For West Ham, the recruitment of Iheanacho will be a good coup as it will be an addition of a quality striker to the side whose forwards misfired in front of goal for much of this season.
