Everton and West Ham target reportedly set for Swansea City move

German source Kicker have claimed that Everton and West Ham are two clubs who have enquired about possibly signing RB Leipzig striker Davie Selke.

However, the German source did add that the player’s agent, Akeem Adewunmi, is currently in England trying to finalize a transfer with Swansea being the most likely destination as they had been scouting the youngster for much of the season.

Selke has struggled to find regular first team opportunities at Leipzig this season and has fallen down the pecking order at the club this season behind the likes of Yussuf Poulson and main forward Timo Werner.

The 22-year-old Selke scored just four goals this season, two of which came earlier this month when he scored a brace during his team’s 4-1 victory over Hertha Berlin.

Selke is a relatively unknown prospect outside of Germany and should he impress, could provide good value for money.
