Newcastle United offered the chance to sign Italian international

Ranocchia

According to reports, Newcastle United will be offered the opportunity to sign Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia this summer. Ranocchia impressed at times during his loan spell at Hull last season but was unable to help the Tigers avoid relegation.

As the defender has no future with Inter, his representatives are said to be working to try and get him another Premier League move.

Given the fact that Magpies manager Rafa Benitez has previously tried to lure Ranocchia while he was in charge of Napoli, it will be interesting to see if a move to the Tyneside club does materialize.

Due to his experience, Ranocchia will be good addition to the Newcastle side. He has made more than 150 appearances for Inter, 21 for the Italian national team and also has Champions League experience under his belt.

Swansea City as well as Greek outfit Olympiacos have also been reported to be interested in the 29-year-old Ranocchia.
