According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United are interested in two wingers namely Sheyi Ojo of Liverpool and Tom Lawrence of Leicester City.
The 19-year-old Ojo failed to establish himself within the Liverpool first team last season, making just two appearances in all competitions and a move may be good at this stage for him to reignite his career.
The report added that Ojo was a target of the Magpies last summer and that manager Rafa Benitez continues to monitor the progress of the youngster.
The Magpies have also been tracking Lawrence constantly, who was impressive for Ipswich this season scoring 11 goals and even delivering a man of the match performance during Ipswich’s 3-1 victory over Newcastle in April.
It is likely that Leicester will let Lawrence leave Ipswich and the player will likely sign for a Premier League club. The 23-year-old is a very versatile player which is always useful.
