According to reports, Newcastle goalkeeper Matz Sels could be on his way back to Belgium. Anderlecht are said to be after Sels as their first choice goalkeeper Frank Boeckx is set to be out of action for four months following a back operation.
The Magpies had loan offers for Sels during the January transfer window though the player opted to remain at St. James Park to try and prove that he is worthy of first team action.
The 25-year-old Sels is currently third choice in the Newcastle goalkeeping pecking order behind the likes of Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot and he will probably not receive regular first team action should he opt to remain with the Magpies.
Should Newcastle be offered a decent sum of money for Sels, the chances are good that the Magpies will sell as they look to recoup the £5.5 million which they paid to recruit him.
