West Ham United agree a deal for 30-year-old confirms Bilic

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has confirmed that his club have triggered a clause to keep goalkeeper Adrian at the club until 2019.

The 30-year-old was in impressive form throughout the 2015/16 season, helping the East London club to a seventh place finish in the League. He however failed to carry out the same form of last season during the early parts of this season and ended up losing the first choice position to Darren Randolph.

In recent weeks though, the Spanish international has reclaimed the starting spot following some high profile errors by Randolph.

Bilic confirmed that the club have decided to keep the goalkeeper at the club, saying, “Adrian is out of contract but we have an option, and we activated that option. He is our player and we are happy with him.”

Adrian, when on form, is arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
