Celtic captain Scott Brown has revealed that his club are focused on clinching the invincibles tag this season.
The 31-year-old said, “It would be unbelievable to do that. The lads were fantastic up at Aberdeen on Friday night and we now have two games to go. It is there to be done and we need to make sure we do it. We can’t get sloppy or sit back and think it’s done already”.
Brendan Rodgers men have been on superb form this season. In addition to winning the Scottish League Cup, they have already won the Scottish League, where they remain unbeaten and are set to face off against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final next Saturday.
The Bhoys are destined to become the first team to win the League unbeaten since Rangers did so in 1899. This season will definitely have to go own in the history books as one of Celtic’s greatest.
