According to reports from Express, West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is wanted by Turkish club Fenerbahce. The Turkish giants have had a disappointing season by their standards, as they are set to finish in third position on the Turkish standings.
The Croat is being targeted, as he is familiar with Turkish football, having served as manager of Besiktas for two years.
Bilic has come under criticism from fans and pundits alike this season, due to disappointing performances from West Ham, which even led to the club flirting with relegation. However, results have since improved and the club are currently on a five match unbeaten run which included a surprise victory over title chasers Tottenham Hotspur last Friday.
It is unlikely that Fenerbahce will succeed in their pursuit of Bilic. It seems that the East London club are content with retaining him as manager for next season. He is likely to also be keen to remain at the helm.
