Everton have joined the race to sign Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez, according to the print edition of Spanish paper AS (via HITC). The 21 year old has been in promising form, having scored 15 goals from 28 games, and has a release clause of £5.1 million, which is well within the budget constraints of the Toffee’s.
With Romelu Lukaku destined to leave Goodisan Park at the end of the season, there is no doubt that Ronald Koeman will have to add new strikers to his squad, if they wish to continue the progress that they have made this season.
Ramirez will definitely be a good addition to the Toffee’s squad. Though there are many clubs that are interested in him, a move to Everton may also benefit his career.
He will have a good chance of getting regular playing time especially considering that Koeman is a fan of providing opportunities to young players who show potential as he has done with Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman this season.
