According to reports, AC Milan have informed Barcelona and Everton that they wish to sign Gerard Deulofeu on a permanent basis.
Milan signed Deulofeu from Everton a six month loan deal during the January transfer window which does not include an option to buy.
His former club Barcelona have a buy back clause which they agreed to Everton, which means that they can pay €12 million to bring back Deulofeu to the Camp Nou.
Barcelona are also reported to be interested in bringing back Deulofeu to their club. Some speculate that the reason for this is to sell him for a higher price than €12 million.
Since arriving in Italy, Deulofeu has seemingly settled into life and earned regular playing time. His performances have managed to earn him a recall to the Spain national team.
He will reportedly only return to Barcelona should the team be willing to guarantee him regular first team football.
