It has been confirmed recently that Chelsea captain John Terry has decided to leave his beloved current club but he still has a desire to play football on a regular basis.
The 36-year-old made his debut for Chelsea 19 years ago and still feels that he can perform at the highest level for at least another year despite his advancing years. West Ham, Bournemouth and West Brom are all reported to be interested, as are clubs from the Chinese Super League.
Slaven Bilic has also admitted that he is a fan of Terry, which has fueled speculation that he may possibly be joining West Ham ahead of next season. With the Hammers struggling at times defensively this season, Terry’s experience and ability to still perform may benefit the team.
It remains to be seen whether Terry will join the club, with whom he played for during his youth career, or if he would prefer a move to the big spending Chinese Super League.
