West Ham star Michail Antonio has said that he feels that if the Hammers make a few good signings during the summer, they could be challenging for a place in European football next season.
Slaven Bilic’s side have been disappointing upon moving to the London Stadium this season and currently occupy 14th position on the Premier League standings.
Antonio, who is out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury, has been one of the East London clubs standout players this season – having scored nine goals.
Despite the struggles, Antonio believes that the club can achieve great things next season if they bring in a few good signings. He said, “We need to sign a couple of players – a right-back, one more centre-half, two strikers – and get more goals. If we can do that, we will be up there for European places.”
The Hammers next face off against Stoke on Saturday.
