Norwich City are reportedly looking to recruit Gary Monk as their manager should Leeds United not win promotion this season.
Monk has gained a lot of praise this season for helping the Yorkshire club challenge for Premier League promotion despite them not being fancied to do so by many at the beginning of the season.
The Canaries Sporting Director Stuart Webber, who recently came to the club from Huddersfield Town, has identified Monk as the man that he hopes to take over the club from Alex Neill.
Whether a move takes place will be largely dependent on what happens during the remaining two matches of the season. The Whites will need to overturn a three point advantage which Fulham have over them in order to qualify for the promotion playoffs.
It remains to be seen whether Monk will be open to leaving if Leeds earn promotion, however the Whites are likely to offer him a new deal as this has been one of their best seasons in recent years.
