Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to hand Newcastle flop Florian Thauvin a second chance at Premier League football after his impressive displays for Marseille in the French Ligue 1 this season.
The 24-year-old has bagged 12 goals and contributed 9 assists for his team this season. His form saw him gain a first call up by the French national team last month.
Thauvin had a disastrous spell with Newcastle during the first half of the 2015-16 season, which saw him sent on loan to Marseille during the January transfer window of that campaign and he has remained with the Ligue 1 outfit since.
The former Lille winger has reportedly triggered a clause that will allow him to stay at Marseille permanently.
Nonetheless, Thauvin recently admitted that while the move to England made him question his own qualities, he still fancies challenging himself and experiencing English football again and a move could be on the cards.
