Atlas has a rigid team and is especially dangerous when playing at home and should present a tough task for Pachuca.
Pachuca has been an intriguing team this tournament, currently in eighth place with 20 points. The ‘tuzos’ have failed to score in five consecutive league games, having a league-low 11 goals scored. While the offense has been inconsistent, the defense has led Pachuca to success this Clausura, only conceding 11 goals. Diego Alonso’s side did score in its last game, drawing 1-1 to Tigres UANL in the final of the CONCACAF Champions League.
The goal came very early in the encounter and it was scored by the defender, Raul Lopez. Players like Hirving Lozano and Franco Jara will need to step up in these last few games to help Pachuca keep its playoff aspirations alive. The match should be an intense one with both teams needing the win to push for the playoffs.
