Despite speculation surrounding his future as manager of West Ham, Slaven Bilic has insisted that the rumors swirling around that the board may sack him do not affect him. After an impressive display last term, the Hammers have had a disappointing season.
Many fans have become disappointed with Bilic as well as captain Mark Noble, who have been the subjects of widespread criticism.
Jaap Stam, Roberto Mancini and Slavisa Jokanovic are three of the managers that have been linked as possible replacements for Bilic should the club decide to part ways with him.
However responding to the speculation, Bilic said, “I’ve always been quite relaxed about my contract situation. I do my job the best I can and those things don’t bother me.”
Owners of the East London club David Gold and David Sullivan have recently indicated that they remain supportive of Bilic by handing him a vote of confidence so as long as the performances of the club do not continue to slide for the remaining matches of the season, he may remain manager.
