Slaven Bilic takes blame for West Ham’s struggles

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has admitted that his side will have to stop their losing streak if they want to avoid a “do or die situation” as the final few games of the Premier League approaches.

The Hammers have been in poor form during recent weeks and a run of five straight defeats have left them in 15th place and five points above the relegation zone.

The East London side lost to London rivals Arsenal 3-0 on Wednesday and face off against Swansea City on Saturday. Should they lose during the weekend, relegation may become a more realistic possibility.

Now Bilic has admitted his fault saying, “It is the manager’s responsibility. I am not talking about blame – there is no point talking about that. It is my job to take those defeats on my chest and to prepare the team for our game against Swansea.”

The Hammers have struggled at their new home ground, the London Stadium this season. They have won just one out of 15 home League games.
