Everton youngster Tom Davies has been rewarded for his impressive performances for club this season with a new five year contract.
Despite being only 18 years old, Davies has established himself within the first team at the Merseyside club and has made 17 appearances, which has included 10 Premier League starts.
Davies is certainly one of the most promising young talents in European football and it was a good move by the Toffees to reward him with a new deal.
The England under 19 international said, “It means everything to me to get a chance to be in the Everton first team and to try to stay there. It’s an unbelievable feeling.”
Davies made his debut for the Toffees in a draw against Southampton last April at Goodison Park. He was handed his first start on the final day of last season by interim manager David Unsworth and received the man of the match award during a win against Norwich City.
