Everton reportedly eye double £50million La Liga swoop to replace Lukaku

According to the Sun, Everton manager Ronald Koeman is looking to sign the La Liga duo of Cedric Bakambu and Willian Jose over the summer as he looks to bring quality reinforcements to his side.

After rejecting a lucrative new deal which would have made him the highest paid player in Everton history, Romelu Lukaku looks destined to leave the club with many of Europe’s elite clubs being interested in luring him.

With Lukaku set to leave, Everton will have to bring in quality forwards if they want to challenge for trophies next season.

Bakambu of Villarreal and Jose of Real Sociedad have both been in fine form this season. The former has bagged 16 goals from 30 starts for this club this season while the latter has 11 goals for his club since joining during the summer.

It has been reported that the duo will have a combined cost of £50 million. This is definitely within the Merseyside clubs financial constraints.
