West Ham United suffer huge double injury blow

West Ham United have suffered a blow as Pedro Obiang is likely to miss the rest of the season after he suffered an ankle injury during the Hammers’ 3-2 defeat against Leicester City.

The midfielder has been one of West Ham’s best performers this season and is set to sign an improved deal with the club as a reward for his consistency.

With Obiang being one of the important players for the Hammers this season, this will be a major blow to the clubs ambitions of finishing as high as possible in the League this season. The East London club have also not been in the best form recently, having only won one during their past several matches.

In what will be further bad news for the Hammers, Michail Antonio also suffered a hamstring injury during the Leicester match and could be out for a month. The 26-year-old was forced to also pull out of the England squad that is set to play against Germany and Lithuania.
