After failing to have exactly the most impressive of loan spells with Sunderland, Adnan Januzaj has admitted that he does not know where he will be next season.
The Belgian moved to the Stadium of Light during the summer on loan from Manchester United. The moved gave him an opportunity to work with David Moyes who he also worked with at the Red Devils.
Januzaj performances are unlikely to convince Manchester United to give him first team action upon recall as he has yet to score from 19 Premier League appearances this season for the Black Cats.
The 22-year-old similarly had a disappointing loan spell with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund last season.
“It has been very difficult because it is not easy to go from Man United to Sunderland,” he told The Northern Echo.
“I had to just do it. I will learn from it because I am 22. When I leave here I know I will be happy. I have learned a lot and it will make me stronger. I don’t know where I will be, but I will feel much fitter and will be happy.”
