The Express have claimed that Everton are monitoring the progress of Celtic duo Stuart Armstrong and Moussa Dembele.
The Toffees reportedly have a keen interest in Dembele, who has been on fine form for the Bhoys this season, bagging 32 goals since arriving from Fulham during the summer.
At just 19, Dembele has showed signs that he is capable of performing at the highest level. He will also come much cheaper than Alexandre Lacazette, who has also been linked with the Merseyside club and will cost around £50 million.
Armstrong has also been good in midfield for Brendan Rodgers team this season, scoring 10 goals and assisting with seven. The 24 year old’s deal with expire at the end of the season and with no renewal having been signed, he may be able to be lured at a modest price.
Ross Barkley’s deal also expires in 18 months and he has yet to renew ties with the Toffee’s, so Armstrong may need to come in as a replacement should he leave.
