According to reports from the Daily Record, Celtic are interested in bringing Arsenal youngster Chris Willock to the club as a replacement for Patrick Roberts, who is set to rejoin parent club Manchester City at the end of the season.
Willock’s contract is set to expire during the summer and after failing to establish himself at the Emirates stadium, it is unlikely that he will remain with the club.
A move to Celtic may be tempting for the 19-year-old as it may allow him the opportunity to play regular first team football as well as experience the Champions League.
Willock has been capped by the various England youth teams up to U19 level. He made two appearances in the EFL Cup this season for Arsenal’s first team, which came during their wins against Nottingham Forest and Reading.
Roberts will leave after a successful spell and Willock may be a good choice to replace him.
