Leeds United goalkeeper Rob Green has admitted that he is “determined” to help the Whites win promotion to the Premier League next season. Gary Monk’s men have the surpassed the expectations of many this season and currently stand in fourth place on the standings.
Automatic promotion is very unlikely at this stage so the club will have to focus their efforts on the playoffs where they will likely be at the end of the season.
The Whites have failed to win their past two League matches and Green is aware that all their efforts would be in vain should they fail to win promotion.
“I feel like I’m determined to be part of something special,” Green said, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“I think it’s now about conveying that to the lads and getting them to understand it and believe it – to understand how good they can be and how good they will be.”
