Rangers finally complete major deal

Apparently, Pedro Caixinha has found a way to end his contract with Al-Gharafa at this point as he has now arrived in Scotland for the first time.

The Portuguese man came in to the Glasgow airport from Dubai, but he made sure to steer clear of fans and the media for the time being, according to the Daily Record.

Caixinha either doesn’t know what to expect or is just a bit crazy. Either way, he looks set to be Rangers’ next boss after he’s shown that he desperately wanted the job. If he puts as much effort into the job as he did getting it, he can be a success for sure.

It’s going to be a tough mountain to climb, though, to get Rangers anywhere near the level of rivals Celtic anytime soon. The other half of the Old Firm have a truly class manager in Brendan Rodgers, and that will be tough to match up with for Caixinha.

This is by far the biggest job of Caixinha’s nomadic career. Despite being just 46, he’s never stuck around very long at any one job. No matter what happens here, don’t expect him to be around long. If he’s poor, he’ll be out by the end of the year easily. If he’s great, he’ll move on to the first flashier job.
