Newcastle Rafa Benitez has failed to confirm that he will remain at the club for the long term as he approaches one year in charge of the Magpies.
Newcastle currently lead the Championship by three points and are destined for promotion to the Premier League.
The Spanish manager has become a popular figure at St James Park and has helped the team to attract near capacity crowd at all home games, even though they are currently playing in the second tier of English football.
However Benitez has failed to confirm that he will be willing to commit his long-term future to the club especially after the clubs board had failed to give him the capital required to bring in players that he had wanted during the January transfer window.
When asked about his future, he said, “I will be here tomorrow trying to win against Fulham and then after, we will see.”
He had hoped to bring in Andros Townsend from Crystal Palace in January, though the deal collapse when the Newcastle board failed to match the asking price.
