Everton director of football Steve Walsh has reportedly kept tabs on Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon, though the club are set to be more keen on his twin brother, Steven – as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
Steven Sessegnon is a 16-year-old versatile right back who can also play at centre-half or defensive midfield.
He is currently plying his trade for Fulham’s under 23’s and Everton are looking to sign him within their youth ranks.
Steven’s brother Ryan is a member of the Cottagers’ first team and if the Toffees wish to sign the more established sibling, they will have to fend off competition from a number of clubs including Liverpool.
However, Everton are said to be more intent on signing Steven. A move to Ronald Koeman’s club will definitely be a good move for him as it will allow him to be part of an academy which has been producing quality players recently.
By moving, he will also be moving to a club which has been giving youth players first team opportunities recently.
