Celtic star Moussa Dembele has praised manager Brendan Rodgers for playing a big role in helping him achieve a good goal scoring record this season.
Speaking to the Glasgow Evening Times, he said, “My whole game is better now than it was this time last season.’That is what the manager has helped me with. He has worked with me a lot on the training ground and I feel as though I am getting better all the time.”
Since joining the Hoops from Fulham during the summer, the 20-year-old has bagged 32 goals in all competitions in his first season in Scotland to help the Hoops enjoy a commanding 27 point lead over second placed Aberdeen in the Scottish League.
Dembele struck again during his team’s Scottish Cup victory during the weekend and his clinical finishing in front of goal has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
