Sunderland boss David Moyes has admitted that Manchester City are a frightening team to play against, but insists that they are not unstoppable ahead of his teams match against the Citizens on Sunday.
Moyes watched at the Etihad Stadium as City thrashed Huddersfield Town 5-1 in the FA Cup in midweek.
He knows that the Black Cats will have to find a way of containing the lethal City attackers such as Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne if they are to avoid losing the match.
When asked if facing the Citizens is a frightening prospect, Moyes said, “Yes, to an extent, because you know you are going to come up against a really good team.
“But also I believe we can stop them. We need to look at ways to do that, and how we can hurt them because they have had some problems defensively.”
