Leeds United boss Garry Monk delivers very concerning news

Gary Monk has had a fine season managing Leeds United, pushing the team to fourth place on the Championship standings and giving the team a decent chance of gaining promotion to the Premier League.

However the former Swansea boss has admitted that talks over a contract extension at Elland Road have yet to start, with his current deal set to expire at the end of this season.

Most fans of Leeds will definitely want Monk to stay given that he has led the club well this season and the club seems to be under good hands. However if Leeds do fail to gain promotion, there will be a possibility that he could be snapped up by a bigger club next season.

The 37-year-old has given the Yorkshire club and opportunity to secure his services and based on the current performance of the team and preferably, a contract extension should take place before the end of the season.
