Leeds United ace Chris Wood has admitted to the Sun that he wishes to play in the Premier League. “I’ve only had a taster of the Premier League with ten or so sub appearances,” Wood told The Sun, “It’s somewhere I want to be.”
Wood does have Premier League experience having turned out previously for West Brom as well as Leicester City.
However, the New Zealand international failed to establish himself as a first team player during his time with the Baggies or the Foxes though he has been clinical for Leeds this season.
He is currently joint top goal scorer in the Championship with 20 goals, tied with Newcastle’s Dwight Gayle.
Wood has played a crucial role in the Whites promotion push this season and fans of the club will certainly be hoping that he can continue his good goal scoring form for the club in the Premier League next season.
