Liverpool face unexpected obstacle against Leicester

In case you’ve been under a rock somewhere, Leicester City has parted ways with Claudio Ranieri as of yesterday.  The Italian has been sacked, just nine months after securing the most unlikely title win in the history of England, and possibly in all of European league football.

But that leaves issues for Liverpool, as they will now come into this match with a huge question mark over what kind of Leicester side they will face.  Who is to be hired is a massive question, and it’s one that could determine the fate of this match and the Foxes’ Premier League status.

Liverpool have experienced bad times in the past against new managers.  For whatever reason, the momentum created by a new manager can be substantial right away.  Liverpool have felt this twice already.

With Swansea under Paul Clement and Hull under Marco Silva, Liverpool were made to pay for poor performances.  Might the new Leicester City boss make Liverpool pay yet again?
