Sunderland have denied reports linking them moving their training ground to London.
A Newspaper report from this week claimed that the Premier League club were considering moving their training base to the English capital.
The move was thought to have been considered as it could have helped to attract more high-profile players into signing for the Black Cats while residing in London.
However the rumors seem to have been rubbished as The Echo reports that Sunderland officials “laughed off the claim and say they’re unaware of any talk of moving their base”.
It appears now that the claims are false and that the club will remain at the current location. David Moyes team are currently in last position on the Premier League standings and are two points adrift of safety.
They certainly are in a position where they can avoid relegation, however to do so, there will have to be a marked improvement in their performances.
