Fringe West Ham attacker excited for the final quarter of the season

West Ham United striker Ashley Fletcher has said that the Hammers trip to Dubai has been positive and that he is excited for the final quarter of the Premiership season.

Fletcher, who arrived from Manchester United during the summer, has failed to break into the senior team however he is seemingly part of Slaven Bilic’s first team plans as he has not been sent on loan.

West Ham travelled to Dubai for a team-bonding trip as well as to practice in warmer conditions, which will probably benefit the team ahead of the final phase of the season. After a slow start to the campaign, the Hammers have improved over the recent weeks and have climbed up the table.

Bilic’s team currently lie in tenth position and the Hammers’ next match is against Watford before they play against log leaders Chelsea. In addition, the performances of West Ham have surprisingly improved since the departure of Dimitri Payet.
