Young centre forward returns back to Everton

Delial Brewster is back at Everton after his loan deal with Southport was prematurely brought to an end, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

The 19-year-old was sent to his home town club until the end of the season but the Sand Grounders operations director Liam Watson confirmed that Brester and Jake Wright, who plays for Sheffield United, have been sent back to their parent clubs.

Brewster’s loan to Southport was revealed on New Year’s Day and he bagged a goal on debut in a 3-2 win over Wrexham. During the other two of his three appearances, he was however less than impressive.

He was not included in the matchday squads for the teams last six matches. Brewster has been on the books of Everton since signing from fellow Merseyside club Liverpool and signed a professional contract with the Toffee’s in 2015.

He bagged five goals for Everton under 18’s as they won the Dallas Cup in March 2016.
