According to Morgan Schneiderlin, the team spirit which he experienced with the team during their Dubai tour can certainly provide the team with the boost they need to push for a European spot.
The French international midfielder who only joined the Toffees’ last month from Manchester United now feels fully integrated at Goodison Park following his experiences with the team during the winter training camp.
He said: “It has been a chance to get to know everyone and that was part of the reason we went to Dubai.
“There are a few new faces and it was a chance for the squad to be together and create a good team spirit for the rest of the season.”
Despite training in relatively warm weather during the tour which is what the club had intended to do, they experienced an unfortunate sandstorm during the match against Chinese club Shenzhen who they beat 4-0.
