Everton star says he holds no ill feelings towards Manchester United man

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has said that he has no ill feelings towards Anthony Martial after the Manchester United forward inflicted an injury on him which could keep him out of action until 2018 at the earliest.

This is good sportsmanship from Bolasie. The challenge from Martial was clearly unintentional and a rather unfortunate incident. Martial even tried to play on immediately after, not realizing that he had committed a foul.

“I just thank God for being able to wake up and be healthy, and do what I’ve got to do,” Bolasie wrote on Kicca.

“I don’t blame Martial, because it’s a thing I do all the time. I’m always stretching and I’m always in contact with someone.”

The injury to Bolasie will be a major blow to Everton. After arriving during the summer he was expected to play a key role in Everton’s aspirations under Ronald Koeman this season, unfortunately it was not to be.
