Sunderland’s Adnan Januzaj has emphasized that it will be vital for the Black Cats to maintain togetherness until the end of the reason as the struggling club aim to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
After a morale boosting thrashing of Crystal Palace early in the month, the Black Cats moved within two points of 15th position on the standings and the club gained a renewed sense of optimism in their aims to avoid relegation.
However disappointment returned after they were comprehensively shattered 4-0 by Southampton at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland’s next trip is away to in-form Everton at Goodisan Park and Januzaj has said that it is important for the fans and players to unite as the club looks to improve its position in the Premier League.
He said, “We need everyone to stick together, stay together and hopefully we will go to Everton and try to get something from the game.”
